Two Arrested for Shoplifting from Shoprite After Fleeing from Management and Attempting to Flee from Patrol. 
On Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:20am two male subjects, Lenny and Kenny Stewart, allegedly stole numerous packages of bar soap from the front entrance display shelf of Shoprite. The brothers ran from the store and from management without paying. The accused males ran directly towards an Absecon Patrol unit that was in the parking lot at the time regarding a separate incident.
Lenny was taken into custody by Ptl. Cavileer without incident. Kenny continued to run, but ran directly to Ptl. Williams who was patrolling in the Rite Aid parking lot. After briefly attempting to flee from Ptl. Williams, Kenny was taken into custody.
Lenny Stewart 48 of Atlantic City was charged with Shoplifting and was lodged into the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 bail.
Kenny Stewart 48 of Atlantic City was charged with Shoplifting and Resisting Arrest and was lodged into the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 bail.
