Donations To Police Help Children In Need 
The Ripon Police Department would like to thank Geri Lewis of the Howard Training Center and Barry Day with the Silver Moon band. Through their combined efforts they have collected over 350 stuffed animals that are being distributed to local law enforcement agencies to assist children in need.
Ripon officers often encounter children in need and sometimes the gift of a stuffed animal is a great way to put them at ease in a traumatic situation.
