Join us for a "virtual ride-along" tonight!
The Campbell Police Department invites you to join us as we patrol the streets of our city. We will be hosting a virtual ride-along on Twitter this Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 8pm until approximately midnight. We will be live-tweeting any incidents that may come up during the course of our scheduled online event.
The topic of our virtual ride-along will be centered around the consequences of impaired driving as we work to get drunk drivers off the road. While there won’t be any specific DUI checkpoints in Campbell on Thursday night, we aim to prevent DUI related crashes and deter drunk driving.
We anticipate sending out anywhere from 50 to 100 tweets from the @CampbellPolice Twitter account on Thursday night, depending on the amount of police activity and the level of community engagement (we encourage questions!).
We welcome everyone to “ride-along” with us using the Twitter hashtag #RIDEwithCPD. If you don't have a Twitter account you can still participate by using our free mobile application (Campbell Police Department), downloadable from the App Store or Google Play.
