The Carthage Police Department is Warning local residents to be on the lookout for people stealing money and parcels from mailboxes.
During Christmas Law Enforcement sees an increase in mail thefts due to all the online shopping and Christmas cards being sent.
Please be aware of this and if you see anyone that looks suspicious checking mailboxes or pulling in a neighbors yard after UPS or FedEx has run, please notify 911 to report the activity.
