The Cotati City Council invites individuals who are committed to working for the betterment of the City of Cotati to apply for membership on the

Board of Trustees for the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito & Vector Control District

The Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector Control District protects the health and welfare of the communities it serves from mosquitoes and vector-borne diseases by utilizing cost-effective, environmentally responsible integrated vector management practices.

The Marin/Sonoma Mosquito & Vector Control District is governed by a Board of Trustees. The City of Cotati is seeking to fill one vacancy up for appointment. Cotati residency is required. The term of office for a member of the board of trustees shall be for a term of two (2) or four (4) years at the discretion of the appointing authority. The nomination for appointment is scheduled for ratification by City Council at the meeting on January 24, 2017. Applications for appointment must be received in the office of the City Manager by 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2017.

Regular Board meetings are held at 7:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month at District Headquarters, 595 Helman Lane, Cotati.
