Please be advised that longtime Cedar Grove Resident William G. Fearon passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. The Viewing for Mr. Fearon will be Friday, December 30th. at Shook's Funeral Home 486 Pompton Avenue from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31st. at the Queen of Peace Church 10 Franklin Place in North Arlington at 10:30 a.m.

For those planning on attending the Friday Viewing at Shook's, please be advised an extremely large crowd is expected. Cedar Grove Police Officers and New Jersey State Police Troopers will be positioned in the area of the Funeral Home to assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety.

In anticipation of overflow parking, we will be offering a shuttle service from the Cedar Grove High School parking lot to the Funeral Home and back starting at 2:30 p.m. If you are planning on attending, please consider using the service.

Please be aware there will be heavy traffic and delays in the area during the hours of the Viewing.
