* LAKE EFFECT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING COMBINED WITH WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 30 TO 35 MPH WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.
* THE GREATEST THREAT OF THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS IS THIS EVENING THROUGH DAYBREAK FRIDAY... ESPECIALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE TOLL ROAD ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN INDIANA AND SOUTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN.
IMPACTS...
* THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL RESULT IN SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES AT TIMES. VISIBILITIES WILL ALSO VARY OVER SHORT DISTANCES DUE TO STRONGER LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS AND AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
* ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS THIS EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
