On 12/29/2016 at approximately 3:15am, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the Kangaroo gas station located at 4000 South Main Street in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, Officers learned that the suspect had taken personal property from the clerk and attempted to take other property from the store by force. During the course of their investigation, Detectives learned that Audrey Jo Cicci, 32 was responsible for the robbery. Detectives also learned that Cicci was responsible for another robbery that occurred on 12/20/2016 in which Cicci took property from a victim while threatening the victim with a knife. Cicci was located and arrested by Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies at the Roadside Inn motel on US301 on the morning of 12/30/2016 and turned over to Hope Mills Police Detectives. Cicci was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where she was jailed under a $105,000.00 bond for the following charges:

1 count of Felony Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
1 count of Felony Common Law Robbery
1 count of Felony Conspiracy
