On December 29, 2016 at approximately 7:19 PM, the San Luis Obispo Police Department was called to a report of a theft that occurred on this date at 12:23 PM. The victim reported an unknown subject stole a UPS package from the front porch of their residence located in the 900 block of Tarragon. The victim provided surveillance footage of the subject who stole the package.

Over the last month, the City has seen an increase in mail and package theft’s when those items are left by delivery drivers and not immediately retrieved by their intended recipients. Thief’s take advantage of the increased number of packages being delivered during the holiday season. The Police Department encourages residents to have items delivered to locations where they can be retrieved as soon as possible.
