Special Weather Statement and Reminder

With wind chill temperatures dropping into teens over the next 24 hours and with a 90% chance of snow and freezing precipitation in the forecast, roadways, driveways and sidewalks will become slick and hazardous in some areas in our region. Allowing extra time for travel should be considered. Please check on family members, friends and neighbors and bring pets inside. Check to make sure water hoses are disconnected from outside spigots. Your cellphones should be fully charged and a full take of fuel in vehicles is always a good idea in the winter, especially during times of very cold temperatures, Even though this is not expected to be a major winter event it is expected to have a real impact, especially during Thursday's midday and evening commutes.
