The Southern Pines Police Department is requesting the public's assistance with identifying three suspects that passed Counterfeit $50.00 bills and Counterfeit $20.00 bills in a business establishment in Southern Pines on December 21, 2016. The three suspects involved are African-American males, one wearing dark in color pants and a hooded jacket with a Chicago Bulls hat. The second male was wearing blue pants, a red jacket with a design on the front and had a blue hood on. The third suspect was wearing red pants and a dark jacket and a toboggan style hat. All three suspects may have left the area in a dark blue in color vehicle, possibly a BMW.
