Modesto, CA – At about 6:30 p.m. yesterday, officers were called to investigate a report of a man who was hit by a train near 9th and “L” Streets. Witnesses said the victim was walking along the track with his back facing an oncoming train when he was struck. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation into the man’s identity continues.
