Identity Theft cases related to Comcast/Xfinity accounts
A recent number of "Identity Theft" incidents have been involving residents where someone has opened Comcast/Xfinity using their information.
There are a number of steps you can take immediately:
1. File A Police Report. This will be required by Comcast/Xfinity.
2. Visit the website for all the instructions on how to proceed with Comcast/Xfinity. http://www.xfinity.com/fraudclaimform
3. Download and print the Identity Theft Affidavit. Please follow all the instructions.

4. The last step is very important also. Make sure you take several steps to ensure you review your credit and follow the steps in "TAKING CHARGE: WHAT TO DO IF YOUR IDENTITY IS STOLEN."

It is absolutely important that you follow the steps in Step 4 as it will take you from A-Z as to how to ensure you attack the problem before the criminals use your identity to purchase other things.
