Sonoma Police Department Encourage Local Citizens to Sign Up for Emergency Alerts 
The Sonoma Police Department, along with the Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority, encourage residents of the City of Sonoma and the Sonoma Valley to sign up for emergency alerts from the Sonoma County Office of Emergency Services.
Emergency Notifications: Residents and businesses are encouraged to sign up for SoCoAlert to receive local emergency alerts and warnings.
Emergency officials use the SoCoAlert Emergency Notification System to deliver incident-specific information or life-saving instructions to the precise geographic area(s) affected.
This service is free, secure, reliable, and easy to use. SoCoAlert notifications may be sent via Text, Email, Voice, Web, and Social Media.
