On January 5, 2017, members of the Anderson Police Department served a Shasta County Superior Court Search Warrant on Sherry Ann Rodriguez, age 55, of Anderson, in regards to an on-going narcotics investigation. Officers had received information that RODRIGUEZ was involved in the illegal sales of both methamphetamine and heroin.

A search of the residence revealed methamphetamine and heroin packaged for sales, packaging materials, digital scales, ammunition, methamphetamine smoking pipes, and a large amount of hypodermic syringes. Anderson Police K-9 Aero, a POST certified narcotics detection canine, assisted in the search.

RODRIGUEZ was located in the residence with an additional eight subjects, whose names are not being released at this time. Several of the subjects made statements to Officers that they frequently use narcotics at the residence and that the residence is known as a “dope house.”

RODRIGUEZ was arrested for maintaining a place where narcotics were used, kept, or sold, possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of heroin for sales, possession of ammunition by a felon, and committing a felony while out on bail/O.R.

This search comes on the heels of a search warrant the Anderson Police Department served on RODRIGUEZ at her residence on July 12, 2016. During that search RODRIGUEZ was arrested for maintaining a place where narcotics were used, kept, or sold, possession of methamphetamine for sales and possession of marijuana for sales.
