The most recent forecast has added Atlantic County to the Winter Storm Warning. This storm will bring 4-7" of snow which will be a heavy, wet snow. Winds will be 5-10 mph with 20 mph gusts and temps in the mid to upper 20's. Hazards include snow and ice covered roads, blowing snow impairing visibility, possibility of downed wires/trees and weak structures due to weight of snow and wind. If conditions produce as forecasted, residents are encouraged to avoid driving and allow road crews to clear roadways, secure items in yard that can blow, and avoid running generators inside houses/buildings in power outages.
