Winter Storm Helena advisory. On street parking in the Village is suspended. 
This is Chief John Aresta on the behalf of Mayor Patricia McDonald with an important message for the Malverne Residents,
Due to the ongoing snowfall, there will be no on street parking from 6:00 PM Saturday evening until 05:00 AM Monday morning.Additionally, all overnight parking has been temporarily suspended. Residents with overnight parking permits. may park at any municipal lot free of charge during this snow event, If you have any questions regarding parking, call the Malverne Police Department at 599-3141. For emergencies, call 911.
The Department of Public works will be plowing the roadways during this event so please remove all obstacles from their path. I would like to remind you that it is a violation of our Village code to shovel snow into the roadways. If you have a fire hydrant in front of your home, please assist the Fire Department by making sure that it is visible and clear of snow.
