Trooper Stops Vehicle for Traffic Violation and Finds Methamphetamine
Parke County—This morning at 11:30, Indiana State Police Trooper Tim Rader stopped a red 1996 Jeep on Jefferson Street just south of US 36 in the town of Montezuma for no front bumper. During conversation with the driver, Trooper Rader noticed indicators of possible criminal activity and requested K-9 assistance from the Parke County Sheriff’s Office.
Parke County Sheriff’s Deputy Cory Hutchins and K-9 “Gemma” arrived to assist with “Gemma” giving a positive indication on the vehicle for illegal drugs. A search of the Jeep netted approximately 5.5 grams of suspected Methamphetamine and one set of digital scales.
The driver was identified as 46-year-old George Kisor of Montezuma, IN. He was incarcerated in the Parke County Jail on count of Dealing Methamphetamine (level 3felony) and one count of Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony).
The case was investigated by ISP Trooper Tim Rader. Assisting were Parke County Sheriff’s Deputy Cory Hutchins and “Gemma” and Montezuma Town Marshal Rob Jackson.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
