...The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Flood Warning in cooperation with the California Department of Water Resources for the following rivers in California... Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County Mad River Near Arcata affecting Humboldt County Van Duzen River Near Bridgeville affecting Humboldt County Another round of significant rainfall tonight through Tuesday night. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches and up to 6 to 8 inches in the mountains will lead to flooding on these rivers. * Flood Warning for the Russian River near Hopland.

* From Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:00 PM Monday the stage was 11.0 feet.

* Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet...Severe bank erosion can occur. Highway 175 near the Russian River closed due to flooding. Many secondary roads flooded in the Hopland, Ukiah and Talmage areas.

* FLOOD HISTORY...This crest compares to a previous crest of 26.8 feet on Dec 31 2005. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
