Flood Warning until 01:06PM Wednesday
...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in California... Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County Another round of significant rainfall tonight through Tuesday night. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches and up to 6 to 8 inches in the mountains will lead to a second flood crest on these rivers. The Flood Warning continues for the Navarro River At Navarro.
* Until Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 2:15 PM Monday the stage was 19.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood Stage is 23.0 feet.
* FORECAST...This river is forecast to recede to near 13.0 ft early tomorrow morning. Then expected to rise above flood stage of 23.0 ft tomorrow afternoon. Then forecast to crest near 34.0 ft.
* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet...Significant flooding over the south bank approximately 1 mile east of Highway 1 will occur. Property damage to include the six homes along the river is possible. Expect closure of Highway 128. Motorists should use alternate routes. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
