Flood Warning until 12:00PM Wednesday

...Flood Warnings Continue for the following rivers in Northwest California... Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Mad River Near Arcata affecting Humboldt County Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County Van Duzen River Near Bridgeville affecting Humboldt County Another round of significant rainfall tonight through Tuesday night. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur Tuesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches and up to 6 to 8 inches in the mountains will lead to a second flood crest on these rivers. ...Flood Warning Continues for The Russian River near Hopland...

* From Midday Tuesday Until Wednesday Afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:00 PM Monday the stage was 10.4 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood Stage is 21.0 feet.

* FORECAST...This river is forecast to rise above monitor stage of 18.0 ft tomorrow afternoon then expected to rise above flood stage of 21.0 ft tomorrow afternoon then forecast to crest near 25.0 ft late tomorrow evening then forecast to fall below flood stage of 21.0 ft then forecast to fall below monitor stage of 18.0 ft early wednesday morning then forecast to recede to near 5.5 ft early saturday morning then forecast to fluctuate near 5.5 ft thru early saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet...Severe bank erosion can occur. Highway 175 near the Russian River closed due to flooding. Many secondary roads flooded in the Hopland, Ukiah and Talmage areas. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
