Hit and Run Collision Involving Pedestrian 
On 01/10/17, at approximately 1:26 AM, the Chula Vista Police Department received several 911 calls reporting a person yelling for help in the vicinity of Orange Avenue (100 Block). Officers arrived on scene and discovered that an adult male had been struck by a vehicle traveling on Orange Avenue.
The victim sustained traumatic injuries to his head and extremities. He was transported to UCSD Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
There were no witnesses’ to the collision and the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene. The make/model/color of the suspect vehicle is unknown.
The Chula Vista Police Traffic Division will be conducting the investigation.
