...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in California... Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino County Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt County Van Duzen River Near Bridgeville affecting Humboldt County Another round of significant rainfall will occur today and tonight. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur this morning through early afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches, and up to 6 inches in the mountains, will lead to flooding on these rivers. ...Flood Warning extended until Wednesday afternoon...The Flood Warning continues for The Russian River near Hopland.
* From this afternoon to Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood Stage is 21.0 feet.
* FORECAST...This river is forecast to rise above monitor stage of 18.0 ft mid-afternoon. Then expected to rise above flood stage of 21.0 ft late this afternoon. Then forecast to crest near 26.0 ft late this evening. Then forecast to fall below flood stage of 21.0 ft early tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet...Severe bank erosion can occur. Highway 175 near the Russian River closed due to flooding. Flooding on Highway 101 near Hopland is possible. Many secondary roads flooded in the Hopland, Ukiah and Talmage areas. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
