The National Weather service has issued a Sierra Blizzard Warning for zero visibility, strong winds and heavy snow. The area above 7000 feet could receive between 5-10 feet and the lake level 3-7 feet. The Sierra Avalanche Center has issued a "HIGH" avalanche danger for today. Sierraavalanchecenter.org
With heavy snow comes roof snow shedding which could trap anyone underneath it. Make sure you or any family members stay away from any potential roof shedding areas.
