Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino COUNTY Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino COUNTY Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt COUNTY Van Duzen River Near Bridgeville affecting Humboldt COUNTY Heavy rains from an atmospheric river have diminished. However...runoff from this rain will continue to cause rises in many area rivers for the next 24 hours. ...Flood Warning extended until Wednesday afternoon...The Flood Warning continues for The Russian River near Hopland.

* UNTIL WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 18.3 feet.

* Major flooding is forecast.

* Flood Stage is 21.0 feet.

* FORECAST...This river is expected to rise above flood stage of 21.0 ft at approximately 3 PM then forecast to crest near 26.0 ft at 9 PM this evening. The river is expected to fall below flood stage of 21.0 ft early tomorrow morning then forecast to fall below 15.0 feet Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet...Severe bank erosion can occur. Highway 175 near the Russian River closed due to flooding. Many secondary roads flooded in the Hopland, Ukiah and Talmage areas. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
