Flood Warning until 04:22PM

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in California... Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino COUNTY Navarro River At Navarro affecting Mendocino COUNTY Eel River At Fernbridge affecting Humboldt COUNTY Eel River Near Scotia affecting Humboldt COUNTY Heavy rains from an atmospheric river have diminished. However, flooding will continue for several NW California rivers through today. SAFETY MESSAGE... Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions... call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623. STAY TUNED TO DEVELOPMENTS BY LISTENING TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL TV OR RADIO STATIONS. The next statement will be issued around 10 AM or as warranted by changing conditions. && The Flood Warning continues for the Navarro River at Navarro

* UNTIL THIS AFTERNOON...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 3:15 AM Wednesday, the stage was 34.9 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

* FORECAST...This river is forecast to fall below flood stage of 23.0 ft late this morning, then recede to near 10.0 ft by early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, significant flooding over the south bank approximately 1 mile east of Highway 1 will occur. Property damage to the homes along the river is possible. Expect closure of Highway 128. Motorists should use alternate routes. &&

* AFFECTED AREAS: MENDOCINO
