On January 10, 2017, the Cerritos Station Detective Bureau and Special Assignment Team executed Arrest and Search Warrants in connection with a strong armed robbery that occurred on December 21, 2016. The warrants were served in the city of Fullerton and the city of Buena Park.
During the incident, a male and a female suspect robbed a male victim of his wallet and cell phone. The victim was also physically assaulted by both suspects.
Cerritos Station Detectives arrested Sarah Eunhae Kim, a 20 year old female resident of Fullerton, at her home and Corey Leytham, a 20 year old male resident of Buena Park, at his home. None of the stolen property was located during the search.
