Three Arrested in New Castle

 
New Castle – Three people were arrested yesterday here in New Castle as the result of a joint investigation between the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section and the Henry County Department of Community Corrections.
 
The arrests started yesterday, around 3 p.m., when a Meth Suppression Section Trooper accompanied Community Correction Officers on a home visit at 100 Autumn Oaks Blvd, Apartment #155. As a result of that home visit Dana M. Flick, age 36, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Level 6 Felony charges, and Possession of Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor.
 
Then around 5:30 p.m. the officers made a home visit on a resident at 339 So. 16th St.  As a result Wade McKenzie, age 41 was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Level 6 Felony charges, and Possession of Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor. Both Flick and McKenzie could face further charges for violation of their court ordered Community Corrections.
 
The third arrest happened around 7:30 p.m. after officers served a search warrant at 634 Goodwin St. Joseph A. Brock, age 33, was arrested by Community Corrections Officers for violation of his court ordered Community Corrections.  The investigation is ongoing, and further criminal charges could be filed against Brock.
 
Officers were assisted in their investigation by Henry County Sheriff’s K-9 Deputy Derek Hall and his partner “Chaos;” Henry County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant Jason Williams, and his K-9 partner “Rico;” the New Castle Police Department and Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs.
 
All Suspects Are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law
