Advisory

Anderson Police Department working on burglaries from Anderson High School.

On Wednesday 1-4-2017, the Anderson Police Department received a report that the Anderson High School football locker room had been burglarized. During the investigation it was determined that computer equipment, projectors and clothing was stolen from the Football team.

On Wednesday 1-11-2017, at approximately 2:21 am, the Anderson Police Department responded to the Anderson Union High School District office for a report of a burglary alarm. Officers arrived within two minutes of receiving the alarm. The Officers located two subjects leaving the High School Parking lot, both of which were later determined to be witnesses and uninvolved. After an investigation several buildings were determined to be burglarized and a laptop computer taken. The witnesses, along with supporting video evidence, provided details of the suspects’ vehicle which are as follows:

The vehicle is an early 2000’s model Ford Mustang, either flat or primer black, with chrome rims and a slim white male driver.

Due to recent burglaries the Anderson Police Department and the Anderson Union High School district have, and are currently, implementing extra security measures to reduce this risk of this occurring in the future.

If anyone has any information regarding the burglaries they are encouraged to contact School Resource Officer Richardson at (530) 245-6526.
