Arrest: 24 year old male, resident of Los Gatos; 24 year old male, resident of Los Gatos
Charges: Vehicle theft, under the influence, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property
Officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle had been previously reported stolen in San Jose.  A high-risk stop was conducted and two subjects were detained without further incident. The driver of the stolen vehicle was determined to be on probation for vehicle theft and was arrested for vehicle theft, probation violation, under the influence, and possession of burglary tools.  The second subject was found to be in possession of stolen property and was also determined to be under the influence.  Multiple items of property stolen from a nearby merchant were recovered. Both were arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 39 year old male, resident of Oregon
Charges: Hit and run, driving on a suspended license
Officers responded to a reported hit and run. The suspect vehicle was located and the driver admitted involvement. He was cited and released.

Arrest: 35 year old male, resident of Scotts Valley
Charges: Theft
Officers responded to a liquor store on the report of a theft of wine that had just occurred. Shortly thereafter, the Scotts Valley Police Department advised that they had the suspect in custody.  The wine was recovered.

Arrest: 24 year old male, resident of Chico
Charges: Possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana for sales
Officers conducted an enforcement stop and determined that the driver was in possession of cocaine and a large amount of marijuana.  He was cited and released.

16600-blk  Shannon
Arrest: 44 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: Outstanding warrant
Officers responded to a report of suspicious circumstances, possible burglary in progress.  Officers contacted a subject inside the vacant residence, however he did have permission to be in the home.  It was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant.  He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.
