Due to cold temps during structure fire response, heavy ice covers Meals & Gulkana intersection. Use extreme caution. 
Due to cold temperatures during tonight's structure fire response, heavy ice now covers the intersection of Meals Ave and Gulkana Street. Once Fire Department overhaul efforts were complete, City Streets personnel placed sand at the intersection. However, those driving in the area are urged to transit slowly and with extreme caution.
