Reward Offered in Fatal Hit and Run 
On 1/22/17, at approximately 6:45 PM, the Chula Vista Police Department received several 911 calls reporting a traffic accident involving a pedestrian on 400 block of Broadway in Chula Vista. Officers arrived on scene and discovered an adult male had been struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Broadway. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was identified as 43 year old Fermin Mateo-Cruz.
The Chula Vista Police Department would like to announce that a $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
