I69 Construction Zone Speeding Leads to Two Felony Meth Arrests
Bloomington (Monroe County) Last Saturday night just after 10 o’clock Trooper Riley Nungester observed a gray, Cadillac Deville travelling in excess of the posted 45MPH construction zone speed limit. The driver was identified as Jesse Allen Abrams, 21 of Camby. It was soon discovered that Abrams was wanted on a criminal warrant through Boone County.
The passenger was identified as Adam Boruff, 21 of Bloomington. Boruff was found to be wanted on a criminal warrant out of Monroe County.
During the traffic stop, a clear plastic bag was located containing a white crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Both Abrams and Boruff were arrested for their active warrants and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, IC 35-48-4-6.1, a Level 6 Felony.
Trooper Seth Parker assisted Trooper Nungester with the investigation.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
