Weather Advisory continued into late tonight 
On the early evening of 01/23/2017, we continue through this powerful nor'easter. I want to remind residents of the following;
Heavy rain bands are expected to increase into early this evening. This will saturate the ground, accompanied with high winds may uproot trees. Please, unless you have to go out stay in the safety of your homes. If you should lose power please call 888-LIGHTSS (888-544-4877). Please do not call 911 to report power outages, as this will tie up emergency 911 lines throughout Monmouth County. We are also asking people to stay off Ocean Ave due to the very strong NE winds that are blowing wet sand. This can potentially damage the paint job on your vehicle.
