WFPD Arrest Two for Burglary
On January 24th at approximately 6:50 pm, officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 2700 blk of Ridgeway in reference to a burglary of a habitation. While speaking with dispatch the victim was struck on the head multiple times by the suspect(s). The suspect(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Officers arrived on scene and rendered first aid to the victim while paramedics and the fire department were en-route.
During the on scene investigation it was determined that two female subjects had been at the residence earlier in the day. The pair was last seen driving a Buick Rendezvous. A short time later the Buick was located at an apartment complex close to the residence. The vehicle was occupied by one of the suspects, 25 year old Mary Cruz Pando. The second suspect 27 year old Angela Brandon was located at an apartment in the complex. Property belonging to the victim was located in the Buick and in Brandon's possession at the time she was detained. Pando and Brandon were both arrested for burglary of a habitation and transported to jail.
