Due to an ongoing law enforcement investigation taking place in the hills of unincorporated Los Gatos, Highway 17 has been closed in both north and southbound directions in the area of Redwood Estates. It is anticipated that traffic on Highway 17 southbound and surrounding areas, including Los Gatos will be significantly impacted. It is unknown at this time when traffic on Highway 17 will be opened. We are recommending that motorists avoid attempting to travel southbound on Highway 17 past the Lark Avenue/Highway 85 exchange, until this investigation has been resolved. The Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department has deployed sign boards throughout the Town advising of the closures and expected traffic delays. We continue to monitor the situation with our law enforcement partners and updated information will be provided as it becomes available.
