The northbound Hwy 17 closure remains in effect as our law enforcement partners continue their investigation. The southbound Hwy 17 closure remains in effect, however the closure has transitioned further south to the Bear Creek exit – allowing southbound motorists to reach Bear Creek and continue to take various alternate routes to reach their destinations. The Town continues to experience significant congestion through the downtown corridor and has deployed additional resources to attempt to mitigate the impact.
