On Friday, January 27th, at approximately 3:15 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 5200 block of Professional Drive. Officers detained a subject later identified as 55 year old Charles Byron Parks.
During the course of the search officers located a clear crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. The narcotic weighed approximately 6 grams. Also located were several unused plastic baggies that are commonly used to package narcotics for distribution.
Parks was arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail for manufacturing and delivery of a substance in penalty group one. His bond was set at $100,000.00.
