Beginning Wednesday, February 1, 2017, H.M. Miller, KCI and the City of Akron will be closing the south bound side of S. Portage Path between Crosby St. and W. Exchange St. They will also be closing the center lanes of W. Exchange St. between S. Portage Path and Hyde Ave. These closures are for sanitary sewer repair work, which is currently expected to take 3 weeks to complete, but this may change, depending on the extent of the repairs that are needed.
On S. Portage Path, south bound traffic will be detoured using W. Market St., S. Rose Blvd. and W. Exchange St.
On W. Exchange St., traffic will be maintained in both directions.
Drivers are urged to obey all road construction signs and to use caution as they proceed through the work zones.
Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
