Evansville Man Arrested for Possessing nearly 60 Grams of Marijuana
Vanderburgh – Last night at approximately 7:06 p.m., Trooper Brent Gramig stopped the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet Impala on U.S. 41 near Washington Avenue for driving with expired registration When Gramig approached the vehicle he detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana. The driver was identified as Sherrod Watt, 28, of Evansville. Trooper Michael Finney and his K-9 arrived and during a search of the vehicle they located two large bags containing approximately 58 grams of marijuana under the driver’s seat. Watt was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.
