Tennessee Man Arrested for Driving 113 mph on I-69
Pike County – Last night at approximately 7:00, Trooper Alexander Welsh was patrolling I-69 near the 41 mile-marker when he observed a 2012 Nissan traveling northbound at a high rate speed. Trooper Welsh clocked the vehicle at 113 mph as the driver was passing three other vehicles. The driver was identified as Drew Jones, 25, of Nashville, TN. Jones was arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail. He was later released after posting a $350 cash bond.
