THEN...ANOTHER STRONG PACIFIC SYSTEM WILL MOVE IN LATER TONIGHT...WITH MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM MST TUESDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 11 AM MST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* TIMING...ISOLATED AREAS LIGHT SNOW WILL FALL THROUGH THIS EVENING. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATER TONIGHT AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
* TOTAL SNOWFALL...4 TO 16 INCHES FROM LATE TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR OVER THE SOUTHWEST PORTION OF THE PARK...LOWEST AMOUNTS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF YELLOWSTONE.
* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS AND HIGHWAYS WILL BE SLICK AND SNOW PACKED AND TRAVEL COULD BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES. VISIBILITY COULD BE REDUCED TO UNDER ONE QUARTER MILE IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.
