Hockley County SO calls for service and activities for 2/3/17 through 2/5/17. 
Good Monday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Friday, 2/3/17 through Sunday, 2/5/17.
2/3/17
-700 blk Caribou Ln: Assist EMS. A deputy was dispatched to the area to assist Levelland EMS. Service was denied and units cleared the scene.
-2400 blk East Hwy 114: Motor Vehicle Crash. Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a vehicle crash. They assisted at the scene until vehicles were removed. THP worked the crash scene.
-300 blk 3rd St, Levelland: A deputy assisted Levelland PD with a possible wanted person. No arrest was made at the scene.
-200 blk W. Richardson, Sundown: Assist Sundown PD. A deputy assisted a Sundown officer on a traffic contact.
-100 blk East Richardson, Sundown: Pedestrian Contact. A deputy stopped and spoke with two males walking in the area.
-200 blk Viola: Assist EMS. A deputy was dispatched to assist with an individual who was later transported to the hospital by EMS.
-5600 blk Cactus: Suicidal Person. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the area related to a disturbance. It was determined one of the residents, who was later located at a different location, had wanted to harm himself. The individual was transported to the hospital, and later released to mental health professionals in Lubbock.
2/4/17
-200 blk Viola, Levelland: Suicidal Person. A deputy was dispatched to a residence related to a subject who stated he wanted to harm himself. The individual was transported to the hospital, and later released to mental health professionals in Lubbock.
-Hwy 114 near El Paso Rd: Suspicious Persons. A deputy was dispatched to locate two individuals walking along the highway. The area was searched and no one was located.
-400 blk Ranch Rd, Ropesville: Alarm. A deputy was dispatched to a residence regarding an alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
-400 blk Cragin, Sundown: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to a vehicle parked in front of the house. The vehicle left the area prior to arrival. The area was searched and the vehicle was not located.
-3700 blk N. Barton Ln: Disturbance. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Neither party reported any offenses at the time. A female subject was determined to have active warrants and was arrested at the scene. She was transported to the jail without incident and released to jail staff.
-2300 blk Hwy 114 Estates: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The area was searched and the vehicle was not located.
-Hwy 114 near Lovebird Rd: Reckless Driver. A deputy was dispatched to attempt to locate a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was located and a stop was initiated. Following an investigation the driver was determined to be sober and was released from the scene.
-2700 blk Belvedere Rd: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The area was searched and the vehicle was not located.
2/5/17
-100 blk Arnett, Ropesville: Suspicious Vehicle. A deputy contacted several subjects in the parking lot of the Chisums. All parties were identified and released from the scene without incident or offenses reported.
-400 blk Ranch, Ropesville: Alarm. Deputies responded to a residence regarding an alarm. It was later determined to be a false alarm.
-300 bk Houston, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy assisted a PD unit with a building search.
-FM 300 at FM 303: Oil Leak. A deputy was dispatched to attempt to locate a leak. The deputy was advised the leak was located and had been stopped prior to arrival. The owner was notified.
-100 blk County Rd: Assist Levelland EMS. A deputy was requested at a location to assist. One individual was later transported.
-100 blk Franklin, Smyer: Assist EMS. A deputy responded to a residence to assist EMS with an individual. One person was later transported.
Deputies also conducted close patrols /vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, civil process service, and traffic enforcement activities.
Jail Population as of 2/6/17 at 0800 hrs: 49 in Hockley County, and 34 out-of-county.
