Hockley County Sheriff's Office calls and activities for 2/6/17. 
Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for 2/6/17.
-800 blk Avenue H, Levelland: Assist Levelland PD. A deputy assisted a Levelland PD officer with a reported suspicious person in the area. No offenses were reported.
-FM 303 at FM 597: Grass Fire. Deputies were notified of a fire in the area. Multiple agencies searched the area and determined the fire was in Cochran County. Information was forwarded to Cochran County.
Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, civil process service, and traffic enforcement activities.
Jail Population as of 2/7/17 at 0800 hrs: 43 in Hockley County, 3 to be processed, and 34 out-of-county.
