01/22/17 WTPD arrested Marc Burns, age 25, of Villas, NJ for disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, harassment and a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance. On 01/22/17 at approximately 1:45 AM, patrol was dispatched to a report of disorderly person at the Draught House, 268 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township. While en route the officer located Mr. Burns walking along Rte. 31 N. The officer’s subsequent investigation resulted in Mr. Burns being charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, harassment and a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
01/22/17 WTPD arrested Jacquelyn Silverman, age 29, of Paterson, NJ for a $330.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Ms. Silverman was processed and released with a new court date.
01/22/17 WTPD arrested Dale Zairo Jr., age 28, of Washington, NJ for burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminals trespass, theft, unlawful possession of prescription legend drugs and disorderly conduct. On 01/22/17 at approximately 1:17 PM, patrol was dispatched to a report of burglary in progress at a residence in the 200 block of Wyoming Ave Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival, Mr. Zairo was located inside of the residence. He was arrested and charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminals trespass, theft, unlawful possession of prescription drug and disorderly conduct. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
01/23/17 WTPD arrested Louis Woolford, age 53, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Carteret Borough. On 01/23/17 at approximately 1:00 PM, patrol responded to the Railroad Ave Apartments in Washington Borough for a welfare check. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, a person on location, Mr. Woolford, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was processed and released to Carteret PD.
01/25/17 WTPD arrested Lindsey Podpora, age 33, of Glen Gardener, NJ for possession of (CDS) prescription legend drugs, unlawful possession of prescription legend drugs and for an outstanding $250.00 warrant out of Pohatcong Township. On 01/25/17 at approximately 12:58 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte 31 S. in Washington Township for driving with a suspended registration. The officer’s investigation resulted in an occupant of the vehicle, Ms. Podpora, being arrested for the outstanding warrant. Ms. Podpora was also found to be in possession of (CDS). She was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
01/26/17 WTPD arrested Robert Bieraum, age 43, of Washington, NJ for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 01/26/17 at approximately 1:00 PM, patrol responded to the 300 block of Belvidere Ave in Washington Borough, for a report of an open burn. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Bieraum was charged with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
01/28/17 WTPD arrested Dawn Hartfelder, age 45, of Washington, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. Ms Hartfelder was processed and released with a new court date.
01/29/17 WTPD arrested Amy Schroeter, age 45, of Glen Gardner, NJ, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). On 01/29/17 at approximately 1:25 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31.S in Washington Township. The officer’s investigation resulted in Ms. Schroeter’s, arrest for (DWI). She had a BAC of .17 %. Ms. Schroeter was charged with careless driving and (DWI). She was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
01/29/17 WTPD arrested Gregory Rudolph, age 53, of Washington, NJ for a $300.00 outstanding warrant out of Newark. On 01/29/17 at approximately 12:08 PM, patrol observed an improperly parked vehicle in the200 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Rudolph’s arrest on the outstanding warrant. He was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for parking in a no parking zone and released with a mandatory court date.
01/29/17 WTPD arrested James Grieshaber, age 40, of Washington, NJ, for outstanding warrants totaling $1300.00 out of a Camden. On 01/29/17 at approximately 4:09 PM, patrol was dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the 1st block of Harding Dr. in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Grieshaber was arrested for the outstanding warrants. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
01/29/17 WTPD arrested Brijelle Hudock, age 25, of Easton, PA, for an outstanding $350.00 warrant out of a Watchung Borough. On 01/29/17 at approximately 9:49 PM, patrol was dispatched to a minor motor vehicle accident on Rte. 57 W. and Brass castle Rd. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Ms. Hudock was arrested for the outstanding warrant. She was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving and released with a mandatory court date.
01/30/17 WTPD arrested Sean Davis, age 25, of Washington, NJ for an $800.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Davis was processed and lodged in the WC Jail.
01/31/17 WTPD arrested Salvatore Safonte, age 25, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough. Mr. Safonte was processed and released with a new court date.
02/02/17 WTPD arrested Elizabeth Ryan, age 29, of Oxford, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Mansfield Township. On 02/02/17 at approximately 9:08 AM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Broad St. in Washington Township for failure to signal a turn. The officer’s investigation resulted in Ms. Ryan’s arrest on the outstanding warrant. She was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to signal a turn and driving while suspended. She was released after posting bail.
02/03/17 WTPD arrested Joseph Otto, age 18, of Belvidere, NJ for false public alarm, providing false information to law enforcement and misuse of 9-1-1. The Detective Bureau charged Mr. Otto stemming from false 9-1-1 calls made to the Quick Chek, 350 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township on December 7, 2016. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.
