Attempted Suicide Under Investigation in Readington Twp
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski, and Readington Township Police Chief Sebastian Donaruma announced the investigation of an attempted suicide that took place in Readington Township earlier this evening.
At approximately 9:00 pm, a male operating a semi-truck suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Readington Township Police Headquarters. Whitehouse Fire and rescue responded to the scene and the victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released at a later time.
