WSDOT Traffic Advisory: Crews close one lane on US 101 Elwha River Bridge for inspection on Feb. 13 2017
Weather permitting, drivers will encounter a single-lane closure and alternating traffic conditions across the US 101 Elwha River Bridge west of Port Angeles from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13. Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra travel time to reach their destinations.
The lane closure will allow room for Washington State Department of Transportation bridge preservation crews to conduct a bridge inspection. Crews have been inspecting the bridge on a regular basis since discovering erosion around the bridge piers last year.
In the event of severe weather conditions, the inspection could be rescheduled.
