The Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department has been advised that Caltrans and California Highway Patrol are responding to a mudslide at southbound Highway 17 at Bear Creek Rd. Additional details will be provided as updates are known, but initial reports indicate southbound Highway 17 traffic is experiencing extended delays and a possible road closure at Bear Creek Rd. Signage boards have been implemented in Los Gatos advising vehicle traffic to consider using alternate routes available at this time.
