HACKETTSTOWN MAN ARRESTED FOR DISTRIBUTION OF HEROIN
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks Station Commander Lt. Dan Dalrymple announced the arrest of one individual after a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force and the New Jersey State Police Washington Barracks.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “On February 8, 2017, Daryl K. Cooper, age 34, of Hackettstown, NJ, was arrested and charged with Distribution of Heroin, a 3rd degree crime. Mr. Cooper was lodged in the Somerset County Jail and is awaiting his first court appearance.
The filing of a criminal complaint is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
