Possibility of winter storm and Burlington Parking Ban 
National Weather Service has indicated the possibility of a snow storm Sunday Feb 12 into Monday Feb 13, 2017. In the event this occurs and it becomes necessary to plow Burlington City Streets a parking ban may be declared. If a parking ban is declared it must be done by 3:00PM to be effective that night.
When a parking ban has been declared all vehicles need to be removed from all Burlington City Streets. In the metered area the ban is in effect from 12:00PM to 6:00 AM. Outside of the metered area the ban is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The ban also included all surface parking lots, owned by the City of Burlington.
Parking is available from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM in the City owned parking garages. Parking is not allowed on the top floors of the garages.
We urge residents to make advance arrangements to remove your vehicles from the streets during this time period.
Vehicles on the street are subject to a $125.00 parking ticket and vehicles are towed to another location.
